Satellite communications

Spectrum outputs with IMPs

Satellite communications has been investigated in the very firts years after the foundation of the research group; there have been important co-operations with industries involved in the Space Applications sector. A link that is maintained up to now.

We have worked in 1997 with Space Software Italia, for the definition of a frequency allocation algorithm to be used in non linear satellite amplifying systems. This effort has produced a number of publications in this field.1 2 3 4

Moreover, as a partner of the CNIT (Italian telecommunications Consortium), we are also involved in the activities of the European Satellite Communications Network of Excellence (SatNEx)
